Apature control and ISO settings

Apature control is changing the settings on the camera to open and close the hole which lets in more light, small apertures let in little light and therefore if it was a bright day you would use a smaller aperture because if you had a big aperture your pictures may be exposed. Therefore you would use a large aperture at night time. But, you can also use apature control to control what your camera focus' on.  Me and my model took pictures outside, the atmosphere was sunny and a little cloudy, we also used a prop to see the stages of when the aperture focused on only the gun, the gun and my model and the gun, my model and the background.
The smallest aperture I used on my camera was F22 and the largest was F 3.5
For this picture I used a small aperture, the aperture was F22, by using a small apature made the image focus more on the gun rather than my model and the background.

For this picture the aperture was around F10, the aperture was big enough to focus on my model and the prop, however it doesn't focus on the background.

This is the last picture I took, the aperture was around F3.5 and therefore at its biggest, this therefore meant the hole was big enough to focus on my model, the gun and also the background.

While we were outside I was also able to control the ISO setting, this is how quickly your camera reacts to light, most cameras run from 100-1600. We set our camera up at  ISO 100 and the camera was at F11.
Because the camera was at a low ISO this meant the camera will react to light slowly, this is why my pictures are overexposed.

However when I move my camera to ISO 1600 this meant my camera will react to light quickly and therefore won't be exposed.

This is the image that I chose on photoshop experiment on. This is a girl with acne, by using the tools on photoshop i was able to remove her spots and reduce the redness on her face. This helped me to create clear looking skin.

i did this by using the clone stamp tool to try and make her skin look clear. I pressed ALT and selected on a clear part of her skin and was able to place it over the acne making her skin look clear. i had to be careful and made sure the skin matched and looked even, I was also able to reduce redness on her face.
