cross processing

 This is the original image that I took and decided to edit.
Using the original image I made a new adjustment layer and started moving the red channel which I could move and adjust to darken shadows and brighten the highlights. Then I did the same with the blue channel which blocked some of the shadows, I didn't use a lot of the blue and I only used a little. I used green to increasing the contrast and highlights but only doing it a little. Then I was able to go on the combined channel called the 'RGB' where I was able to fine tune the bits I wanted to change.
Then I used a yellow colour fill with the opacity around 10% to give it a retro look, however I thought it looked a little to yellow and green.

















Therefore I changed the yellow colour fill down to 7%
