Shutter speed photo's experiment

We experimented with different types of shutter speeds, we went into a dark room with very little light and used torches. We put our camera around 5" which is 5 seconds for shapes and we used 10" which means 10 seconds for the names because they took longer to write. It also was harder to make our  names with the torches because we had to write backwards so that the image was mirrored. We were able to capture these pictures with the torches because the shutter was on for longer enabling it to capture more light for longer before the picture was actually took because we were in a dark room the only light that was picked up was the torch light and also giving it a better looking background and therefore created these pictures.
